When Davor, a technician from Croatia, contacted CPS Products Europe, it wasn’t because he wanted to replace his refrigerant recovery machine—it was because, after 20 years of faultless service, it finally needed its first repair. His CPS600E had earned its place as a trusted part of his work, and replacing it was never the first option.
As Davor put it, it had been a “phenomenal machine… working for 20 years without a fault.” That kind of longevity says everything about what quality equipment is built to do.
CPS Europe Sales Manager Brad Bray responded quickly to the enquiry. The CR600E reclaim unit was now discontinued, and that meant sourcing parts might not be straightforward. In many cases, this is where equipment reaches the end of the road.
But not this time.
After checking with the CPS Products Europe repair workshop in Belgium, it turned out that there was still one compressor repair kit remaining in stock for this unit—the very last one available. Recognising Davor’s long-standing trust in CPS equipment, Brad acted quickly to coordinate dispatch with CPS Products’ Croatian distribution partner Frigo Plus, in Sesvete.
We weren’t surprised to learn the machine had given such service, ‘Better by Design’ is a standard we’re proud of. But, because it’s not every day a customer gets in touch to share a story like this one, we asked if Davor would share a video of the repaired machine with us.
Davor, who has been in business since the 1990s, providing specialised electrical and refrigeration services—including installation, servicing, and maintenance for cooling systems and electrical appliances—was more than happy to take part.
With the support of CPS Europe and our local distribution partner Frigo Plus, Davor’s repair process got underway. The result speaks for itself. The repair was a complete success, and the same “phenomenal machine” is now back in service once again—continuing its story rather than ending it.
